Description and Mechanism

MyHep is a prescription drug taken into use for the treatment of chronic Hepatitis C virus in special patients. It is prepared with the combination of two anti-viral agents like Ledipasvir 90 mg and Sofosbuvir 400 mg. Ledipasvir is known as HCV NS5A inhibitor and Sofosbuvir is known as a nucleotide analog inhibitor of Hepatitis C Virus NS5B polymerase. This medication functions by preventing the growth of HCV in the body.

Composition and Color

Each tabled contains 90 mg Ledipasvir and 400 mg Sofosbuvir. It is oval shaped green colored medicine.

Dosage and Administration

  • Should be taken once in a day/ every 24 hour with or without food
  • Should be consumed orally with water

Contraindications and Warnings

Before taking this drug tell your doctor if you are taking any other medications, OTC products, dietary supplements, and if you are suffering from any kind of medical condition like allergy, asthma, etc. Also, do not take MyHep if:

  • You are breastfeeding or pregnant
  • You are taking amiodarone
